The role involves working on a project dedicated to advancing quantum network nodes using laser-cooled atoms, including highly excited Rydberg atoms, to enable deterministic quantum light generation and processing capabilities. This project is supported by MCIN with funding from European Union NextGenerationEU and Generalitat de Catalunya, providing a stimulating multidisciplinary environment with strong European academic collaborations.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Ph.D. in Physics / Quantum Physics / Optical Engineering
